In 1994, at fourteen, MJ started painting figures as a hobby and Later, in 1997, began to paint box artwork for Korean companies. In 2005 MJ was the first box artist at ' Seil Models', where for three years he taught the Chinese staff in the China branch(Yantai,Shandong), and also sculpted some figures for Seil Models. From 2008 to now, MJ has worked for many companies in the world(Alpine,Doug's, SK, Carl Reid, Mantis, Airborne, CGS,DG Artwork, Tommy's War, Sideshow Collectibles, etc.). J set up his own company 'MJ Miniatures' on 2013, and team of MJ Miniatures produce high quality resin figures with articles to share with modelers all over the world.
